Our Thoughts On Over Consumption

We've been thinking a lot about overconsumption lately.

Life is already complicated enough ... why add more stuff to it?

At some point, it stops adding to your life and starts taking from it. More choices, more clutter, more decisions you don't need to be making. It's not healthy. When you're constantly chasing something new, what you already have starts to feel like its not enough. Not because it isn't but because you've trained yourself to think that way. And suddenly, instead of being grateful for what you have, you're always onto the next thing.

We don't think more is better. We think better is better. Quality over quantity, always.

Finding your staples changes everything. The pieces you reach for without thinking, that you actually live in. You can't really be loyal to your style or your closet if you're constantly replacing everything. It's also easy to fall into comparison. But just because someone else bought something new doesn't mean you need to. Comparison steals the joy out of what you already have.

It's okay to repeat outfits.

To wear the same thing again and again.

To have favorites.

The goal isn't more its enough.
